FAQ’s

What are the shows?

Our season includes a diverse mix of compelling dramas, uplifting concerts, vibrant musicals, and laugh-out-loud comedies. Many of our shows are family-friendly, so you can feel confident bringing both kids and parents without worry. This year, in honor of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, our season will feature stories of America—whether drawn from American history itself or told through the voices of American playwrights and musicians.

While some productions explore more mature themes—such as 12 Angry Jurors and The Miracle Worker—others will be rooted in faith and inspiration, like Godspell, The Other Wise Man, and Family Portrait. And some will feature hysterical comedies like You Can’t Take It With You and Steel Magnolias. Regardless of the show, each production is carefully selected to entertain, engage, and inspire audiences of all ages.

Why don’t you announce them ahead of time?

When selecting productions, one of the first steps is securing the performance rights, which can range from $800 to $3,500 per show—musicals being on the higher end of the spectrum. These costs must be covered before we can sell a single ticket, purchase a costume, or even begin promoting the show.

Without securing these rights, it is illegal to announce, audition for, or advertise any production. As a non-profit theater, we are committed to being good stewards of our resources, and we simply don’t have $15,000 or more available upfront to purchase rights for an entire season in advance.

Instead, we focus on raising the necessary funds through ticket sales, donations, and sponsorships throughout the season. This ensures that each production is handled with care and financial responsibility, allowing us to continue bringing you high-quality, thought-provoking theater.
