The Pillars Youth Theater is a production-based program for young artists ages 8-18.
We create fully realized plays and musicals that ask students to work with discipline, imagination, and care. Through rehearsals, students grow as actors, singers, collaborators, and storytellers while bringing meaningful work to the stage.
We do not treat youth theater as a lesser version of the real thing. Our students are trusted with complex stories, high artistic expectations, and work they can be proud of.
PRODUCTION FEES:
Fees vary by production and reflect the actual cost and scope of the show, including performance rights, costumes, sets, music, and other production expenses. Some productions have no fee. Payment plans and sibling discounts may be offered when applicable.

How Far We’ll Go!
The Pillars Youth Theater is holding auditions for our Winter 2027 production of Disney’s Moana, Jr, and you’re invited on the journey!
Disney’s Moana JR. is a musical adaptation of the 2016 Disney animated film, bringing the adventures of Moana and her village of Motunui to life onstage. Moana JR. features all the beloved songs from the film, including “How Far I’ll Go,” “Shiny,” and “You’re Welcome.”
This thrilling and heartwarming coming-of-age story follows the strong-willed Moana as she sets sail across the Pacific to save her village and discover the truth about her heritage. Moana and the legendary demigod Maui embark on an epic journey of self-discovery and camaraderie as both learn to harness the power that lies within. With empowering messages of bravery and selflessness, Moana JR. is sure to bring out the hero within each of us.
Celebrating the rich history of Oceania and based on the beliefs and cultures of the people of the Pacific Islands, Moana was developed in collaboration with an Oceanic Trust – a group of anthropologists, cultural practitioners, historians, linguists, and choreographers from the Pacific Islands. The same respect and attention to detail used to develop the film will be carried forward in the creation of this stage adaptation.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Auditions are open to students currently enrolled in grades 3–8.
We are looking for energetic young performers who love to sing, dance, act, and tell a great story. No previous theater experience is required. Whether you’ve been performing for years or this will be your very first audition, we’d love to meet you.
More than experience, we are looking for students who are willing to learn, work hard, try new things, and grow alongside their castmates. Disney’s Moana JR. is an ensemble-driven story, and every performer plays an important part in bringing the world of Motunui to life.
WHEN
Auditions will be held on January 13 and 14 by appointment from 3:00-5:30 pm.
When you sign up for auditions, you will pick your audition time slot.

All auditions, rehearsals, and performances are held at The Seeing Place | 310 Winchester Road

REHEARSALS & SHOWS
If cast, we meet on Wednesday & Thursday from 4pm -6pm starting on January 20, 2027.
We have one Tuesday Tech Rehearsal on March 30th.
Show Dates: April 2 and 3 at 7:00 pm
WHAT TO PREPARE
When you sign up for an audition spot, you will be sent an audition packet with everything you need to prepare: songs, tracks, sides, and a cast of characters available!

The Sun Will Rise: A Concert for Christmas is a warm and joyful journey through the music, memories, wonder, and traditions of the season. Featuring beloved Christmas favorites, timeless carols, solos, duets, and full ensemble numbers, the concert celebrates everything we love about Christmas while tracing the quiet hope that has always lived beneath it.
The Sun Will Rise reminds us why Christmas continues to stir something in us year after year: even after difficult seasons, there is still beauty ahead, still reason to hope, and still the promise of a new day.

TICKETS: Tickets are $15 for Gold Seating, $13 for Silver Seating, and $12 for children under 12.
Tickets will be available to the public on Monday, September 21 at 10 am and to season ticket holders on Wednesday, September 16.
