Bedford Falls Comes to Life at The Seeing Place
It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play brings the beloved holiday classic to the stage in the style of a 1940s radio broadcast, complete with microphones, sound effects, music, and a small ensemble of actors bringing the people of Bedford Falls to life.
At the center of the story is George Bailey, a man who has spent his life giving up his own dreams for the sake of others. On Christmas Eve, overwhelmed by disappointment and convinced that the world would be better without him, George is given an extraordinary gift: the chance to see what life would have been like if he had never been born. With the help of Clarence, his unlikely guardian angel, George begins to understand just how deeply one ordinary life can shape a family, a community, and the people we may never realize we have touched.
Funny, nostalgic, heartfelt, and ultimately full of hope, It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play is a story about love, sacrifice, community, and the quiet ways a life can matter. Presented through the intimacy and imagination of live radio theater, this Christmas classic invites us to look again at the people beside us—and at the value of a life well lived.

Based on Victor Hugo’s classic novel and featuring the beloved score from Disney’s animated film alongside additional music by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, The Hunchback of Notre Dame is a sweeping story of longing, belonging, power, mercy, and what it means to truly see another person.
Set in fifteenth-century Paris, the musical follows Quasimodo, the isolated bell-ringer of Notre Dame, who longs to experience the world beyond the cathedral walls. When he encounters Esmeralda, a courageous Romani woman who refuses to look away from injustice, his world begins to change. Their lives become entangled with Captain Phoebus and the powerful Archdeacon Claude Frollo, whose obsession and hatred set the city on a dangerous course.
Told through a rich theatrical style that blends ensemble storytelling with passages drawn directly from Hugo’s novel, The Hunchback of Notre Dame asks an enduring question: What makes a monster & what makes a man?
