The Seeing Place is a 501(c)(3) non-profit year-round community theater located in Jacksonville, NC. We are dedicated to bringing stories to life through dynamic musicals, plays, concerts, and creative programs that inspire our young people, and connect our community.

Our Mission

At The Seeing Place, our mission is to foster community through education, music, and theater. We aim to illuminate the truth about our lives and ourselves , while also serving as a ministry to uplift and inspire individuals. Through high-quality productions, classes, and workshops, we aim to foster community, encourage personal growth, and find meaning through the stories we tell.

Mainstage Productions: Our season features a diverse lineup of musicals, plays, and concerts, offering family-friendly entertainment for everyone.

Youth Programming: Our after-school program, S.O.T.A. (School of the Arts), provides students with hands-on training in the performing arts, nurturing the next generation of talent.
